My second tapered tang

 This is my second tapered tang and
also the biggest knife I have made so far.
 4mm 01 with wenge scales and brass pins and tube,
the wood the scales comes from Isca Woodcrafts .

total length is 270mm ,140mm blade .
the blade has a full flat grind and is hand rubbed to 400 grit

    How did the wenge work? I just bought a bit but have not tried it yet?

    The 'wenge' is ok to work , but does blunt the belts quickly and the ends splinter a bit when cutting . Just cut the scales a bit oversized and then sand or file to size

    Very nice, my favourite so far. It looks as though you've put more thought into the proportions of the blade.
